Breeding Evidence ~ priority areas for roving to upgrade breeding evidence

We are now down to the last few months of summer fieldwork and there are still areas where we suspect more of the species present may be breeding.

The map on the right shows the 10-km squares in which fieldwork has so far confirmed breeding in less than 50% of the species present. Darker colours indicate the squares of highest urgency where the fewest species have been confirmed to breed:

Only 1-9% of species proven to breed
10-19% of species proven to breed
20-29% of species proven to breed
30-39% of species proven to breed
40-49% of species proven to breed

Use the controls to zoom in to an area of your choice. If you click on a square the pop-up message will give you more information about species richness and the level of breeding evidence recorded so far.

If you have found an area where you could help, click the link or login using the buttons below and use the Any Square Summaries, Priority squares or My local gaps options to see which species could be missing, then hit the field.
