Habitat: Marsh, meadows, lakes & tundra, also estuaries
Diet: Plant material, incl. roots, tubers, shoots, leaves, mostly grazing on land
TitBit: Although not officially yet recorded in Britain, several small Canada geese have been reported, one or more of which may be this species and hence genuine vagrants from across the Atlantic
