Some security software (e.g. firewall or anti-virus)
stops the session from being created in the first place. We use the session
to make sure your data are passed from page to page correctly. If you have recently
updated or installed any security software (or even Windows), and this error is now
appearing, you need to make sure http://blx1.bto.org is in your 'trusted sites'. You may
need to review the security software help to set this up. Once setup, please try again.
It is also possible that you are trying to access the survey from a bookmark
or favourite of the internal pages of the system, in which case you should be able to access
correctly by clicking here |

It may be you have left your connection idle for more than 30 minutes. All sessions are
timed out after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve resources. We are very keen
to receive your BirdTrack data so please log in again and re-enter your
data if you did not complete your data entry session. |

Occasionally, someone enters a space or a digit that
we don't accept and haven't catered for. Please ensure that you follow the correct data entry formats
- there is often a help link near the fields providing examples of the correct formats. |
